A few members from the Deja Vu teamed up with a few members of the Sunsail and went to Sea Scout Advanced Leadership Training, or SALT. There they went through a variety of different activities such as COPE, Aquatics, and generally had fun. |

Thanks to Terry and Larry the mast has been raised on the glitch. She now looks like a genuine sailboat! Thanks Amber for taking the pictures. Unfortunately all of us were busy during the actual raising, hence the lack of pictures! We left the Seabase for PYC at around 12:00 and got back at exactly 18:00! |

Finally we launched our 25-foot Catalina, soon to be named the SSS Glitch. Thanks to support from Jack Cory, Larry Snyder, Bill Donnelly, The Montana Twins, Cristi, Amber, Taylor, and Josh we would not have been successfull with our decision to launch in 3 weeks! We launched the boat from the 42nd street dock and motored her up to the Seabase where we had food and drink. Check the next set of pictures of us stepping the mast and sailing her home! |

We aquired a 25' Catalina and have set to work getting her ready to go in the water. This includes inspecting all of the sheets, hardware, the mast, cleaning the teak, painting the bottom, and cleaning her top to bottom. On July 8th we renamed her Glitch and have set aside July 15th as the launch party. |

Deja Vu attended their first Regatta event with the Northwest Area. Because only four youth were able to attend, we combined forces with the SSS Decatur, who had only three youth. The combined team, dubbed Deca Vu, was awesome. For the first time ever, a 'first time' unit was able to acheive Clipper Ship rank with a total score of 75.33 (75 was required to be clipper) Enjoy the large amount of pictures in this gallery! |

The Deja Vu Spring Break Trip -- oop, no wait, make that escape. We're out here on the Puget Sound (actually Hood Canal), Dosewallips State Park. Chris, Joseph, Cristi, and Taylor started on Wednesday. Putzed around until Friday when Andrew and Alan came up. Teka was in the area, but she was with the SCUBA types. Keep watching this gallery because there are some pictures of us actually sailing entomed on regular 35mm film (Chris' camera) that we need to develop and scan. |

Base Duty. Assigned tasks included breaking-up the finger dock next to the Shannon, taking the RELIANT out to get fuel, replacing the officers quarters door, and (of course) cleaning up the quarters. Thanks to the members from FVPS for helping us out with that. |
